The Department of Communication prepares students to become competent, ethical, and responsible communication and media professionals.
Our undergraduate programs are a synthesis of theory and practice. We provide our ComArts majors a well-rounded training that strikes a balance between socially-relevant storytelling and production skills in various modalities. Our OrgCom majors are equipped to analyze, evaluate, facilitate, design, and implement the communication requirements of local and global organizations. The rigorous graduate program in our department develops communicators who are theoretically informed and technically competent in media and communication.
