Josefina C. Baui is a professor of literature and general art appreciation at De La Salle University. Her interests include Translation studies, Southeast Asian studies, and migration and diaspora studies especially affecting an age demographic younger than 20 years old. She has been maintaining a blog that features personal essays intended for curation into book form. She has published short essays in anthologies which she also managed, edited, and curated such as Ang Biblia para sa Filipina, Paglalakbay, One Hundred Ways to Live the Word, and Voice Philippines. She has been also working as freelance editor of books by new evangelical and catholic authors for OMF Literature Inc., New Day Publisher, Church Strengthening Ministries, and Nehemiah Teams. Her freelance essay from a blog, Wanted Privacy is featured in Narito, an independent publishing venture with colleagues in the Literature department of Lasalle. She finished her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at ¿ªÔªÕæÈËand is pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Literature in the same institution. She has also worked as an entrepreneur and managed a translation agency from 2009-2021.
