Dr. Mary Ann Q. Adajar is a Professor and the Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering, De La Salle University, Manila. She has completed her BS in Civil Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from Central Philippine University, Iloilo City, her Master of Science in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering from De La Salle University, Manila, and the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering major in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Question City. A registered Civil Engineer, she was conferred the title of Specialist in Geotechnical Engineering in 2008, Specialist in Structural Engineering in 2009, and Specialist in Civil Engineering Education in 2021 by the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE). She joined the academe as a faculty member of 开元真人in 2001 and was a recipient of the St. Benilde Romancon Pillar of Lasallian Educators Excellence Award for Teaching. Before joining the academe, she had more than fourteen (14) years of professional experience in the field of structural design and construction management gained from reputable consulting companies and private practice.
